TRAINING CAMP LONG WEEKEND

Cost: $330.00 Per Person (Includes 3 nights Accommodation at Camp, all meals, all training sessions, coaching and associated camp equipment hire activities and Water Craft Expenses)
Please note – the cost is higher this year as we have included all your meals (8 in Total) + all snacks, including daily supply of fresh fruit, tea, coffee and biscuits + sponsors products.

Note: I appreciate that some of you will be able to find your own accommodation in Anglesea for the same or even no cost (if you have family or friends) but please remember that these camps can only be run if we get the numbers to stay at the venues that we organize. We only charge enough to cover total costs only and try and make these weekends as affordable as possible. So please if you want Tri-alliance to keep running the camps for you all – please support them by staying with your team mates.
If you do choose to stay elsewhere on this weekend and you will be attending session at the camp you will are asked to pay a fee of $150.00 Per Person for your time at the camp.
The cost of $330.00 or $150.00 must be given to Jarrod no later than 1st of June 2008.
$165.00 OF THIS AMOUNT IS STRICTLY NON – REFUNDABLE
Cheques can be made out to Jarrod Evans and sent to 30 Oakbank Avenue, Highton, 3216, Victoria – or – you can transfer money using internet banking. I can be contacted on my email address or phone number for my banking details should you wish to use this option. These details are the same as last year.
Accom: Dorm Room Style - Fully Self Contained as well as a FULL Industrial kitchen and cold food storage facility that is there for our use.
Please Bring: All Bedding (sheets, pillow, doona or sleeping bag), All Training Gear (including if possible, a hood for surf swimming), Plenty of Warm Clothes, Portable Bar Heater (if possible) and Clothes Horse to dry wet clothes.
A Mountain Bike and your Road Bike!!!!!!!!!!
You may want to bring a power-board just in case everyone brings heaters.
Wet weather clothes are required, and any spending money you might require.
Ear Plugs If you are a light sleeper you may require them. There is no noise in surrounding areas, but some people are obviously light sleepers so it might be an ideal to bring them along.
Food: All your food and snacks are fully supplied for your duration of the camp.

Arrival: Athletes can begin to move into Camp Wilkin at 4.00pm from Friday onwards.
Parking: Is available at the Camp Site. Parking is FREE!!!
Please Note: This camp will be a first in, first served basis. There are only 60 spots available for accommodation at Camp Wilkin for this camp and I have made it available to all Tri-alliance members.

Camp Wilkin offers a great team environment that is right near the shops and Anglesea Surf Club and has a massive dining and relaxation area. It is the perfect place to run one of these camps which is the very reason why we have chosen to have it here. Please if anyone has any special needs we will do our best to cater for you.
TRAINING ITINERARY
Please Note: All athletes will be divided into Groups before the start of each session with each group having 1-2 designated Tri-alliance Coach’s for that session. There will be a beginner, intermediate and high level group for each session.
FRIDAY
Friday: Group Run, 45 - 60 mins Easy / Mod Pace Run
(Bush Tracks + a little extra)
Session starts at 4.45pm Sharp – Please allow enough time to arrive down at the park site and to get organized.
We must start at this on time to avoid running the Bush Tracks in the dark for safety reasons.
Friday: Team Meeting 7.30pm – 8.00pm (Compulsory)

Please Note: The open area room and individual rooms must be cleaned, vacuumed and or swept out on your return from the ride and or run, then we can have lunch. You can have showers after all sessions, there is no checkout time. |
